Formed at the beginning of 2010 in East London, Orchestre du Mont-Plaisant is Catapulte Records' "all-star" band, it features Juste Akiss "Voyant" on guitar, Luke Warmcop "Sage" on drums and percussions, Piro "Vulgaire"" on bass and Graham Mushnik "Souffrant" on accordion and organ.
Mainly instrumental but with bits of choir and screams, L'Orchestre play blues and dance pieces, with notable influences from Congolese Soucous, Ethiopian Jazz & Groove and South American Cumbia.

L’Orchestre has already toured and performed in France, Germany, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro as well as performing regularly in its born-town. The omonimus first Lp was recorded in January 2011 in the French alps at Larsen-studio in Chambery and is now out on Catapulte.
